Lenses
I own a wide variety of lenses which always enable me to execute the shot I need. Aside from Sony’s extremely versatile 18-200mm 3.5 lens, I also own an array of Nikon glass, that offer super-sharp images and guarantee natural and pleasing out-of-focus highlights with exceptional ‘bokeh’ – blurred areas that are pleasing to the eye.
Additional Equipment / Delivery Methods
Tripod, Sony ECM-XM1 microphone and three-point lighting set-up are all included in my shooting kit. I record to SanDisk Extreme Pro cards, encoding to the latest AVCHD codec. This can be transcoded to Apple ProRes® or Avid DNxHD codec for delivery. Edits I execute myself can be finalised in either of these formats for use as a master, or if the video is intended for web use, I encode to H.264 format with a bit-rate of 25,000 kbps to ensure high-quality.
